Abstract

Through the analysis of the principle of the remote procedure call(RPC),this paper introduces the concept of the remote method invocation(RMI) for Java, and discusses in detail the system structure and mechanism of Java RMI. At last, we provide an example of distributed computing on Unix platforms.
