Abstract

The research on ethnic identity and national identity usually focuses on the cultural traits of the former and the political traits of the latter.The study on the ethnic identity and national identity in Wa culture can help reveal their roots and integration and strengthen the concept of the former' s priority over the latter for improving the unity of different borderland groups and the stability of the border regions.
