Abstract
In this study, the blends of methylvinylsilicon rubber(VMQ) and linear low density polyethylene(LLDPE) thermoplastic elastomer have been prepared by dynamical vulcanization.Effects of blending ratio, the type of vulcanization agents, dynamical vulcanization time on the properties of VMQ/LLDPE thermoplastic elastomer were investigated. Its thermal stability was tested by Thermogravimetry analysis. The results show that the VMQ/LLDPE thermoplastic elastomer has better mechanical properties when the blending ratio is 60/40,DBPH is selected as the vulcanization agent and the dynamical vulcanization time is five minutes.
