Abstract

TiAl-based alloys were paid more attention due to their low density,excellent high-temperature strength,high oxidation resistance and creep resistance,and became potential candidate materials in automotive and aerospace industry for high-temperature structural application.However,the low room temperature plasticity limited their industrialized application.Brittleness of TiAl-based alloys at room temperature was analyzed;it could be improved by adding alloying elements,optimizing preparation process and reinforcing combination.
