Fierce Discussion on Jin Yong——A Historical Observation of Jin Yong’s Novels

The spread of Jin Yong’s novels and the current study on Jin have been expatiated in the study on the basis of a great amount of materials. It also describes the controversy between Wang Shuo and Jin Yong, the response of Hong Kong and Taiwan, the focus of the debate and cultural connotation, and the discussion on the Internet. The contending phenomenon of Jin Yong’s novels--one of the greatest of Chinese contemporary literature— has been historically observed from overall angles. Some provoking questions have been put forward for discussion.
