Abstract

The status quo of the ground thermal field in the planned Beijing city proper has been systematically researched through the method of remote sensing measuring and on-spot measuring. The status quo map of urban greening and heat island distribution of Beijing city have been established through abstracting and classifying the information from remote sensing image. The distributive character and intensive rank of urban heat island have been analyzed. The heat characteristic of different ground surface materials has been systematically measured. The relationship between the green space percentage of different ground surface materials and the effect of urban heat island has been analyzed. Therefore the occurring rules, affecting factors of heat island and the measures for attenuating this effect have been put forward.
