Abstract
In order to analyze the flow characteristics of rotating orifice, and improve the efficiency of air system one-dimensional simulation, the computational model of rotating orifice was developed considering the main factors, such as,incidence angle, geometric parameters. The simulation model was constructed based on MATLAB/Simulink. The model was verified by experimental data and commercial software Flowmaster. The results show that error between the model and experimental results is within 7.2%,and error between the model and CFD results does not exceed 2.3%. However, error between the model and Flowmaster results is close to8.94%. The results show that model of rotating orifice has high precision, and can be applied to simulate different type of axial orifices, which is of great significance for air system one-dimensional simulation.
