Study on Development of Traditional Sports of Minorities in Xinjiang

By means of literature review and interviews,the authors have analyzed the resources,current developing situation and restraining factors of the national traditional sports of minorities in Xinjiang and proposed the countermeasures of development and suggestions.It is emphasized that in order to develop the national traditional sports of minorities in Xinjiang,theoretical researches must be strengthened,the cultivation of athletic talents of national traditional sports must be paid great attention to and the national traditional sports of minorities should be combined with school sports,mass fitness activities and economic construction.The national traditional sports of minorities should be greatly propagandized dynamics and its level of modernization should be enhanced so that the development of national traditional sports of minorities in Xinjiang can be promoted.
