Abstract
Objective: To discuss the value of Multislice spiral CT in diagnosis of the ankle joint injury. Methods: Retrospective analysis of 21 patients with ankle joint sprain were examined by X-ray and Multislice spiral CT. Results: In 20 patients, CT showed 46 fractures, included 13 fractures of internal malleolus, 17 fractures of external malleolus, 4 fractures of anterior malleolus and 12 fractures of posterior malleolus, respectively, and DR showed 37 fractures, MSCT could accurately showed the fractures of the ankle joint. Conclusion: MSCT could accurately diagnose the fractures of the ankle joint, especially in diagnosis of fractures of posterior malleolus and anterior malleolus.
