Abstract

Objective To investigate the vWF and D-D concentration and the relation with cerebral embolism in dilated cardiomyopathy patients. Methods The levels of vWF and D-D were measured in dilated cardiomyopathy, and compared with controls. Results There were statistic differences in vWF and D-D concentrations between the dilated cardiomyopathy patients and normal controls(P0.01).The rate of cerebral embolism in dilated cardiomyopathy patients was related with vWF,D-D and atrial fibrillation(P0.05).Conclusion The concentrations of VWF and D-D are much higher in dilated cardiomyopathy patients and related to cerebral embolism.
