Abstract
Stern challenge is proposed by the new technology and method of geophysics survey to the computer speed and memory. With the geophysics data process loading faster,it is difficult for single computer to meet its computation. It is a good solution to use the parallel computation technology to increase the processing speed. In seismic method, many researches in parallel processing obtain the application on the large-scale parallel machine. In non-seismic method, some parallel methods which are mainly based on COW,are experimented and used.Computation demand in geophysics data processing is analyzed with an introduction of parallel computation technology basic survey. The research condition and findings of the parallel computation in geophysics data processing are analyzed in the discussion.
