Abstract
Constructed wetland is a kind of cost-effective wastewater treatment technology. The paper analyzed the ability of batch-flow constructed wetland to remove contaminants from domestic wastewater. The result shows when influent indexes are COD:300 mg/L-500 mg/L, NH3-N:40 mg/L-60 mg/L, TP:9 mg/L-16 mg/L, the removal ratio of the constructed wetland are respectively 83 % , 75 % and 40 % . The results shows that input and output by the way of batch-flow utilized atmosphere reaeration at a large degree, compensating the inadequacy of releasing oxygen of aquatic roots, and helping to remove contaminants. Appropriate amount of limestone filled in bed played the role of adjusting pH.
