Abstract
The nature of dance lies in human body movements. Cultural division of modernity results in the appearance of dance as an art of beauty, retreating into theatres gradually in the modern period and becoming an art of stage presentation while enslaved to stage. However, modernity division of dance also leads to the phenomenon of de-division,going beyond the stage of theatre and into public daily lives. Hence, street dance and square dance are the remarkable developing trend of dance art. The innate staged dance and the tension of non-staged dance constitute the aesthetic method of reflecting on dance art. It is necessary to return to the origin of dance and construct a concept of large dance beyond the limit of stage. Therefore, dance as theatre art is only a form of small dance in the concept of large dance.
