Abstract
Soil organic matter(SOM),as a main component of terrestrial ecosystem,plays a very important role in terrestrial soil carbon cycle.SOM closely coupled with soil physical,chemical and biological characteristics has received great attention on its components,characteristics and transformations.Relative research on SOM has been associated with its fractionation technologies due to SOM complexity in its components,structures and existing ways.In this paper,we reviewed SOM fractionation technologies.According to its differences in theories and methods,SOM fractionation technologies can be classified as chemical,physical and biological ones.The prospective research on physical fractionation of soil labile organic carbon is forecasted in the end of this paper.
