Abstract
The effects of agglomerated boron with different particle size and coating agent on combustion properties of boron-based fuel-rich propellants were experimentally investigated. The results show that burning rate of the propellant increases, and low-pressure combustible limit decreases with the increase of particle size of agglomerated boron, moreover pressure exponent tends to decreasing;the AP and LiF coating are in favor of increasing burning rate of the propellant and decreasing low-pressure combustible limit, but unfavorable for increasing pressure exponent.
