Abstract
Qinghai Lake's form and evolution were approached.It was forecasted that Qinghai Lake would be dried up after 194~412 years according to depth and area between different time and area.There are 2 models about its evolution process,Chaidamu model and Gonghe basin model.The process of Qinghai Lake dry up is a complex process.Although,Qinghai Lake will not dry up within ten thousand years,predicted by the experts concerned.Qinghai Lake cannot be avoided to be dry up if decreased tendency of water level of Qinghai Lake cannot be reversed and controlled.
