Abstract
In order to satisfy the smoothness requirement of vehicle, the optimal damping coefficient matching to suspension was studied, the design method of optimal damping ratio and velocity characteristic mathematic model of shock absorber were built.Based on that,an optimal design model and method of valves parameters were established. The performance of shock absorber and whole vehicle vibration tests were carried out,and compared with the performance of original shock absorber. The results show that, damping of shock absorber matching to vehicle suspension is rational, the design model and method of valve parameters are feasible.
