Design and Research of Full Hydraulic Deck Unit Erection Gantry for Long-Span Suspension Bridge

The deck unit erection gantry,mainly categorized as hoisting type and hydraulic lifting type, is the purpose-made equipment used for lifting and installing steel box girder deck units of a suspension bridge. Based on the analysis of the working conditions and performance indexes of the gantry, and in accordance with the specific conditions of lifting operations of the Suspension Bridge of Runyang Bridge, and the state-of-the-art of the similar kind of equipment abroad, a widely applicable deck unit erection gantry that is fully hydraulic, modular and centrally controlled is designed and developed.
