Abstract
Tobacco waste was used as major materials to study effects of adding different proportions of chicken manure on temperature,pH value, electrical conductivity(EC),C/N ratio and seed germination index(GI) during high-temperature composting process based on adding mixed bacterial agent. The results showed that adding chicken manure shortened the time of reaching high temperature(50℃),extended the time for pyrolysis, accelerated the composting process, and decreased the biotoxicity of compost. In composting treatments with different proportions of chicken manure(1:0.263 or 1: 1.373,the ratio of tobacco waste to chicken manure),the time of reaching high temperature were three days, which advanced five days in comparison with treatment without chicken manure, and the duration of high temperature prolonged five days and seven days, respectively.Among the three treatments, the treatment in which ratio of tobacco waste to chicken manure was 1:1.373 had better effect;compost was completely decomposed(T 0.6) at the 35th day,and the compost products barely had biotoxicity(GI=79.09%).
