Network virtualization experimental platform

Currently,the concept of virtualization has been applied in many concrete fields,namely sever virtualization,storage virtualization,network virtualization even mobile phone virtualization.There is slight difference among the concepts,but purposes are all focus on decreasement of costs,the ultimate utilization of the resource,the resource sharing and utilization optimization.Network virtualization can achieve high utilization of network resource from the division of single physical network resource.It allows customers to share the single physical device or network resource which feels like it is only owned by himself.From this idea,the network virtualization experimental platform can help network researchers make analysis and evaluation about network technique in real network environment.This paper introduces the key technique,mutual relationship and system model of the current popular network virtualization experimental platform.
