Abstract

The foraging of Harmonia axyridis ab.Bimaculata in different preys was investigated. The result showed that Chaenome speciosa,Populus tomentosa and Sslix matsudana did not produce volatiles for attracting Harmonia axyridis. After these plants were injured with the different aphids, the ladybirds were attracted by plant volatiles.Plant volatiles were released by Wistaria sinensis repelled the ladybirds in any conditions.
