Abstract

Chiang Kai shek was a key figure on the political stage in the Republic of China period. He was also the focus character in the history of Kuomingtang in China. The research on Chiang Kai shek in mainland China started in 1960's .Since 1980's the research on Chiang Kai shek was greatly widened and a lot of achievements have been made in many aspects. Meanwhile because of certain reasons some deviation and deficiency occur in the research area of Chiang Kai shek.
