Abstract
SHI Jie is one of the Three Misters in the early period of the Song Dynasty, whose thought on the Yi jing includes the carding and judgment on the origin and development of the Yi-ology,the summary of the laws conceived in the Yi-ology,and his comprehension of metaphysics of the Yi-ology as well. He interpreted the ancient Text by Confucian thought, and was skeptical about some content in the Yizhuan. Simultaneously,SHI Jie didn't arbitrarily discard the image-numerology,holding an attitude of belief towards the Text. SHI Jie explained the Yi with the preceding concepts. All these aspects reflect SHI's in-depth comprehension of the Yi-ology.
