Abstract
Objective To investigate the acute cerebral infarction and plasma homocysteine(Hey) and its clinical significance. Methods Totally 120 cases of acute cerebral infarction and 80 cases of hospitalized patients health examination of the same age groups for plasma Hey,the determination of folic acid and vitamin B12,and compared. Results The plasma Hcy in patients with acute cerebral infarction significantly increased(P0.01),folic acid, vitamin B12 levels were significantly lower than the control group(P0.01).Conclusion The plasma Hcy in patients with acute cerebral infarction increased, and folic acid, vitamin B12 decrease, homocysteine is an independent risk factor for acute cerebral infarction.
