Abstract
Involute helical gear can’t be built directly in most 3D modeling platforms at present.This paper describes the involute helical gear modeling of one 16V diesel engine’s lubricating oil pump.The relations between the sizes and the characteristic parameters are set up,involute and gear outline are generated accurately.It is convenient for helical gear’s transmitting,analyzing,design and manufacture.
