Abstract
A method of tracking moving interface with high resolution on unstructured triangle meshes was proposed based on the VOF.It employed the finite volume WENO scheme with high resolution to discretize the space derivatives of the VOF,the third-order TVD Runge-Kutta method to discetize the time derivatives, and the Lax-Friedrichs flux to be as the numerical flux. The numerical test results show that the present method can track the moving interfaces in the Zalesak and the shear flow problems, and the numerical results agree well with the theoretical ones.
