Abstract

Africa,with huge amount of potential petroleum,has been regarded as the Second Gulf.During the past years,African petroleum industry has developed quickly,becoming one of the most active regions of petroleum exploration in the world.To develop new market space in Africa is not only the factor for western powers to care about Africa,but also the factor that China can overlook in diplomacy.There come unprecedented challenges and opportunities brought by China's importing petroleum from Africa,while opportunities are bigger than challenges.
