Teacher Chat,Teacher Development:A Action Research Report on A Teacher Learn to Research

'Teacher research,teacher develop' is the theme of the present international teacher education and development,With an ethnographic account,this study narrates how a Chinese teacher for the first time tried an action research on how chat-in-private helped his colleagues and himself in solving professional loneliness and crisis,and in gaining professional reflection and self confidence.It also argues for establishing teacher-friendly criteria for such teacher-centered research to help teachers liberated from restriction of conventional research conducted by professional researchers.
