Abstract

Beginning with the second law of thermodynamics and thermodynamic entropy, this study gives a brief introduction of the ideal experiment proposed by J.C.Maxwell 100 years ago,and its questionings. In addition, new development is analyzed of entropy in information technology, entropy and neg-entropy in life science respectively.
