Abstract
Electric power demand side response implies the time and level adjustment of demand based on the system reliability programs and market prices,which include incentive based demand response and price based demand response according to the property of response signals faced by demand sides.The United States is currently implementing most demand response programs,which also has most varieties.This paper presents an overview on its program design and implementation of price based demand side response in U.S.A.,including time-of -use price,critical peak price and real-time price,so that it can cast an inspiration and reference onto related works in China.
