Abstract
For the problem in the coordinated function of power system equipments,by building a system with SVC and generator excitation with PSS,the authors propose its mathematical model, and analyze the interaction between static var compensator(SVC) and power system stabilizer(PSS).When SVC and PSS work simultaneously, the system will run into oscillation if the design of SVC controller doesn′t consider the influence of PSS.It is concluded that the system stability is improved when using designing SVC controller and PSS and adopting linear Gauss quadratic optimum methods. Finally lots of experiment results demonstrate the theoretical analysis.
