Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical implication of reversal of multidrug resistance(MDR)by cyclosporine A(CsA) and interferon-α(IFN-α).Methods: The expression of P-170 was assaied by means of immunocytochemistry,45 cases who were P-170 positive were randomly divided into groups: trial group(chemotherapy plus CSA and IFN-α)and control group(chemotherapy alone). Results: The incidence of P-170 expression(66.7%)was higher in relapsed of refractory acute leukemias, effective rates were 78.9% and 42.9% respression(P0.05).Conclusion: CsA and IFN-a were safe and effective for reversal of MDR in relapsed or retractory acute leukemia.
