Illogical Transformation——An Analysis of Complementary combination of ancient divination and witchcraft in "Dun Huang Xie Ben Zhai Jing"

Divination and witchcraft are usually seen as two different thinking tendencies towards mysterious culture.As a book about divination for housing,Dun Huang Xie Ben Zhai Jing,however,takes some thoughts from witchcraft,which gives the divination some illogical transformation and therefore allows more explanations when the divining words are not in conformity with the reality.Focusing on the case study of Dun Huang Xie Ben Zhai Jing,the paper indicates the existence and the influence of the illogical transformation in the ancient divination art.
