Abstract

The paper identifies the advantages and disadvantages of five methods to realize WebGIS,and presents the WebGIS framework based on Java technology,and discusses the application of WebGIS to forest resource archives management,forest resource dynamic monitoring as well as forest resource prediction,etc.
