Abstract
The technical innovation of middle small sized hydropower stations is important to the development of hydropower industries. In this paper, the state of the art of middle small size hydropower stations is discussed. The necessity and feasibility of redesign of hydraulic turbine runners in middle small sized hydropower stations are analyzed. And new technique in fields of runner design, test and manufacture is introduced.
