Abstract
The methods to extract and separate 1,8-cineole from eucalyptus oil are studied.Water vapor distillation of eucalyptus oil only brings isomeric compounds, but the molecular distillation can reduce the thermodecomposition and improve the distilling efficiency because of its short heating period.By the molecular distillation, the content of 1,8-cineole can be above 80% with a yield of 23.66% in a single time of distillation.Meanwhile, the problem of jam in vacuum system can be resolved in the batch process of traditional vacuum purification.
