Abstract

Nature value theory formed from the discussion about the value of nature results from the deep reflection on traditional value. It is a recognition of nature which is beyond the instrumental reason and which is an ontological reconstruction of the value of nature because it entails a standpoint of ecological holism. Only from this perspective can we transcend dogmatism and consumerism and thereby establish the primordial value of nature. It is in this sense that nature value theory is meaningful.
