Emperor Wu of Han and the Sports Changes in Han Dynasty

By applying the method of literature review,this article discusses the influence of Emperor Wu of Han on the sports development from the aspects of the political and military achievements,foreign policy,personal preferences,the pursuit of immortal longevity and so on.The study suggests that the sport was in shape during the reign of Emperor Wu of Han,forming three development patterns of entertainment sport,military sport and health sport.The entertainment sport became a major sports form in Han Dynasty.The sport in Han dynasty showed the scene of Great Han,reflecting the active service function for politics.
