Abstract
(R,S)-2-methyl-1-butanol was resolved to give(S)-2-methyl-1-butanol(4) by transesterification using immobilization thermophilic esterase APE1547(3) on canvas fiber as the catalyst in non-aqueous media. The effects of reaction conditions, such as solvent, acyl donor, temperature and substrate ratio on the catalytic activity(EA3) of 3 and the enantioselective ratio(E4) of 4 were investigated.Under the optimum conditions,3 showed a satisfying catalytic performance(EA3=0.53 μmol·min-1·mg-1,E4=15.4),and 3 was recycled eight times with slight decrease in the catalytic performance.
