Abstract

Synthesis of n-butyl acetate with potassium bisulfate as catalyst has been stueied . Factors influencing th synthesis were discussed. The ptimized conditions are : molar of acetate acidto n-butyl alcohol and potassium is 1:1.4:0.0074, the reaction temperature is 117~124℃, and the reaction time is 45min. The results showed the esterification rate is over 86.5%.
