Abstract
To protect water resources and ensure groundwater safety of the No. 3 well mining in Pingshuo, based on the numerical simulation theories and methods of groundwater movement,a three-dimensional numerical simulation model of groundwater movement was established by generalizing the hydrogeology model of groundwater system of the mining area. According to the working condition features operating method and the production schedule of the No. 3 well mining, the groundwater inflow in every roadway and mining working face was simulated and predicted on a monthly tunneling progress basis when the groundwater level declines to the No. 9 coal seam floor, the result obtained not only guarantee the production safety of the mine, but also protect the groundwater resources sufficiently. This theory and method can be well applied to simulate the structures of a complex three-dimensional hydro-geological body and dewatering draining project and the processes of dewatering draining. The preconditioned conjugate gradient method which solve algebraic equations iteratively is of fast convergence speed and good stability, and increases the accuracy of the groundwater inflow prediction of mine.
