Abstract

Objective To investigate the distribution and resistance of EsBL of K.pneumoniae and E.coliin our hospital and provide experimental evidence for clinical medication. Methods In year 2013,1 418 strains of K.pneumoniae and 1 463 strains of E.coli were isolated in the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University.Using VTEK 32,bacteria identification and drug sensitivity test were done. Results In 1 418 strains of K.pneumoniae,677(47.74%)strains of EsBL were isolated;in 1 463 strains of E.coli,677(50.03%)strains of EsBL were isolated.EsBL-producing K.pneumoniae was found 456(67.43%)strains in sputum specimens, and EsBL-producing E.coli was observed in 271(36.97%)strains in urine, the isolating rate of both was the highest in department of internal medicine, being 332(49.02%)strains for K.pneumoniae and 400(54.61%)strains for E.coli.Resistance of EsBLs E.coli was higher than that of EsBL K.Pneumoniae.Both were relatively high resistant to penicillin, quinolone and cephalosporins, but hypersensitive to biapenem, imipenem, and meropnem. Conclusion The number of EsBL-producing bacteria increases in clinical isolates with increasing resistance to antibacterials.Attention should be paid to the detection and drug sensitivity test of EsBL producing strains, effective and reasonable use of antibacterials,to avoid nosocomial epidemic of EsBL strains.
