On roles of environmental education in environmental management

To change the present situation of global environment and strengthen environmental management in order to further coordinate economic development with environmental protection,governments at different levels must not only bring the roles of law,administrative management,economic interference,and technology,but also actively develop environmental education,which aims to improve the environmental consciousness for all society.Based on the analysis in the various instruments of environmental management,this paper argues that environmental education plays a fundamental role in all the instruments of environmental management,absorbs the experience of Japan using environmental education to promote environmental management,and finally gives some suggestions to Chinese environmental management by developing environmental education.
