Abstract
A new method—ratio of total area and path length method was presented for dividing the water catchment area in the design of rainwater system. The confluent isochrone was plotted to simulate the actual catchment of water. Based on this, analysis was made on the difference among the ratio of total area and path length method, traditional division method for water catchment area, and “confluent isochrone”, as well as their characteristics.
