Using Moso bamboo strips near the bamboo green as raw materials,air-dry density of samples and the bending performance under radial loading pattern(the bamboo green is above/below)and tangential loading pattern are measured and the effect of air-dry density and load pattern on bending performance is analyzed.The result shows that the MOE and MOR of Moso bamboo strips near the bamboo green basically has a linear relationship: the linearly bending performance of Moso bamboo strips near the bamboo green varies with loading patterns significantly.Grading is conducted based the air-dry density and MOE under the tangential loading pattern of Moso bamboo strips near the bamboo green,with specific grading indicators established.
