Abstract

This paper describes the demolition of a 45 m high special structure chimney under the complicated circumstances by controlled blasting.The blasting scheme,blasting design and blasting cutting parameters are introduced.The safety calculation and the safety protection measures are discussed as well.The desired blasting effectiveness are attained.
