Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of ketamine on oxidative stress in the supernatant in the rat alveolar macrophage cell line(NR8383) activated by Lipopolysaccharide(LPS).Methods Macrophage was pretreated with ketamine at concentration of 10,100 and 1 000 μmol/L,then was stimulated with LPS.The production of SOD and MDA in the supernatant of macropahge was assayed by SOD and MDA kit. Results LPS induced an increase of MDA and an decrease of SOD in the supernatant.Pretreatment with ketamine(100 and 1 000 μmol/L) can inhibited this response. Conclusion Ketamine exerted a protective effect on LPS-induced oxidative stress injury of NR8383.
