Abstract
The pyrolysis characteristics of Zixi Mongolia coal and Wu coal were investigated using the thermogravimetry(TG) technique in N2 atmosphere.The influence of pyrolysis with different heating rate and different particle size was discussed.According to the release property index(r) of pyrolysis products of two kinds of coal,the coal pyrolysis property was determined.Results showed that pyrolysis characteristics of Zixi Mongolia coal was better than that of Wu coal with the same heating rate.For the same coal,the higher the heating rate was,the better the pyrolysis characteristics of the coal was.Pyrolysis kinetic parameters of two kinds of coal were obtained based on the pyrolysis curves.The iterative iso-conversional methods was applied to calculate the activation energy Ea and the most probable mechanism function G(α) was determined by means of the master plots method.
