Study on the water conservation benefit of forest vegetation in Jiuwanshan Natural Reserve

Abstract

This paper studied the benefit of water conservation of the forest in Jiuwanshan Natural Reserve. The results showed that this forest could conserve a total of water source from precipitation 18 368. 07×104m3·a-1 in three hydrodogical layers-canopy,litter and soil,which values 2. 44×108 yuan ·a-1 accordingly. This indicates that the forest has a notable ecological profit,and it is significantly important for ecological security in the area.
