Abstract

The ancient Greek tragedy is magnificent and it is still permeated with exuberant vitality.There is much in their theory and creative practice that we can learn from and make use of.This paper mainly discusses three things: the creation of tragic hero in ancient Greek tragedy;tragedy mainly mirrors the patterns of social life;and tragic lot.
